‘With the demise of LA support in most boroughs and the fact that so much change is currently taking place in the mathematics arena there is a real need to bring the maths community together to really explain and discuss these changes and how best to manage this change.  What we don’t need is another boring, stuffy maths conference. What we need is a maths conference that will appeal to teachers and address their real day to day needs and pressures. Mathspeak is aiming to deliver exactly this, from policy change at a national level, to fantastic lesson plans and resources that will impact directly in the classroom.
